Hello, and welcome to The Finer Edge. My name is Manuel Silveira and I am the publisher as well as the webmaster for the magazine. I have been an avid knife collector for several years and in September of 2005 an opportunity was presented to me to do a digital knife magazine. This opportunity failed to evolve due to several reasons, which I won't get into here, so I decided to start my own.

The Finer Edge will work hard to present knife articles that you want to read on custom makers, factory knives, and just about anything else to do with knives. The good thing about it is that it is a free magazine. That's right, you the reader can download or view the magazine on line for free.

We have also started a knife forum so that the knife community can communicate about what is going on. Along with the forum there is also a gallery to which you can upload your favorite knife pictures into so that everyone can see.

We also offer a knife sales page wher you can sell your custom knives. We will post your knife for sale for a flat fee of 5% of the knives value, you heard right, only 5%. This is by far the lowest fee anywhere for knife consignments, but hey, if you want to pay up to 20% you can always go elsewhere.
